DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) – A popular Delray Beach restaurant has received four high-priority violations from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, along with another warning for a dead bird on the property.

The office at 201 East Atlantic Avenue, according to an official Florida state inspection report, was the location of the dead bird. This is the specific language recorded: “Bird dead or trapped in control devices. Observed in attic upstairs. Operator removed, cleaned and disinfected.

Other violations recorded by the FDBPR inspector, presented verbatim from the official report: “High Priority – Stop sale issued on time/temperature control for safety food due to temperature abuse. Time/temperature control for safety food cold kept above 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Drawers under the flat top on the far right: ; Drawers under the flat top on the far right: ; raw burger (60°F); raw salmon (58°F); raw mahi (52°F); raw steak (57°F) cooked sausage (61°F) operator says some items restocked early morning at close. Other items have been in the unit overnight. Unit has an ambient temperature of 57°F-60°F. Unit monitored for over an hour with no change in temperature.* *Warning**”

“High Priority – Raw pet food stored in same container as ready-to-eat food. Raw seared tuna in same container as cooked salmon. Operator removed **Corrected in place** **Warning**”

“High Priority – Time/Temperature Control for Safety of Cold Foods Held Above 41 Degrees Fahrenheit. The February 1 inspection did NOT cause the restaurant to close. A re-inspection on February 2 did not result in any violations.
