A mischievous duo start doodling… and end up creating a whole imaginary world! They invite the public on their adventure at sea with a tiny turtle. What will happen as we follow their vivid designs through this beautiful aquatic world, and return the turtle to the sea safely? Doodle POP is a touching and playful non-verbal performance that uses live musicians to perform the score and accompanying sound effects. Using stunning interactive animation projections and live whiteboard drawings, they create an abundance of theatrical imagination for all to enjoy.
Doodle POP has been featured at festivals around the world. It received the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2018 Asian Arts Award for Best Comedy and was selected by the jury for a full showcase at IPAY 2020. This Doodle Pop tour received a grant from Center Stage Korea, Korea Arts Management Service and the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism.
“…inventive and thrilling and completely fantastic. Natural, mythical and comical creatures transform into each other with the flick of a switch or the flick of a pen… as impressive for adults as they are for children. —Exeunt Magazine
